After your reach out, you’ll choose a time that works for you for a quick phone call. We’ll go over any questions you have and I can get an idea of what you’re envisioning for your session. I’ll send your client and styling guide, questionnaire, and loads of other goodies to help prepare you.
during
We’ll have an AMAZING session! I’ll give you prompts and pose you in a way it feels authentic to who you are. We’ll move around the studio or your home to get variation and different perspectives, while you love on your family and embrace this moment in your life.
after
I will deliver a short film and all of your edited photos in an online gallery. You’ll then choose your favorite 15 (if you can narrow it down - wink wink) to download and keep forever! You’ll also get a peek at my online store with loads of personalized photo products to help display your art work.

I typically hold my newborn sessions mid-morning on week days. If you have a conflict with the time, early afternoon is also an option, but I find mid-morning is the perfect time for babies and older siblings alike.

I have extensive experience with working with children of all ages, and understand it's hard to hold the interest of a young kiddo. That's why I always do any sibling shots first so that we get their images done when I first get there and the excitement is still high. If possible, I suggest having a friend or family member there to help with entertaining any older siblings while I work with parents and newborns. It always alleviates stress when you're not concerned your older children are unattended and allows you to focus on your newest little.

Working with newborns, this is a high probability. I'm very good with settling newborns and have years of experience in newborn sessions. That being said, if your newborn doesn't want to fall asleep, then we'll get amazing cuddly images of you rocking and consoling your baby. Newborn images don't have to be one certain way. They're a way to document this new and special time in your life, so we'll take their cues and take beautiful and precious images.

Like I said earlier, I have an entire closet at your disposal. You can borrow anything your heart desires and I can promise you're going to feel so confident in these choices.
I also create a custom inspiration board for every family. I help with styling for moms, dads, kiddos, you name it. I'll add the colors you prefer, and build a wardrobe based on the places you usually shop. That way you can either go out and get something new and special for your photos, or shop your own closet and find things that are similar to our style guide!
