Summer weddings in Central New York have a way of weaving magic. When Sam & Geoff contacted me about photographing their wedding at Farm-Beer Tree Brewing, I knew it would be a celebration to remember.
From the moment I arrived at Farm-Beer Tree Brewing, the air was filled with anticipation and joy. This semi-casual yet elegant venue, located just outside Syracuse, is a photographer's dream. Imagine sprawling fields, lush trees forming a natural canopy, and a gorgeous pond that serves as the perfect backdrop for celebrations. For Sam & Geoff's ceremony, they chose a stunning outdoor spot, perfectly positioned to capture the golden hour glow.
As a Syracuse wedding photographer, I pride myself on capturing authentic, candid moments that reflect the true essence of a couple's love. The warm light filtering through the trees, the heartfelt vows exchanged, and the genuine laughter shared between these two and their loved ones – these were the moments I was privileged to document.
One of my favorite details was the couple's choice of floral arrangements, featuring soft hues and abundant greenery that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings. Their personal touches, like the personalized fans, and polaroid table at the reception, added an extra layer of meaning to the day.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, the celebration moved inside the quaint bar room for a reception that was both beautiful and filled with energy. The room was bathed in soft light, illuminating the intricate details of the decor. But beyond the aesthetics, what truly shone was the palpable joy and love filling the air.
One of my absolute favorite moments from the evening was the father daughter dance. Sam and her father started their dance like most other's I’ve captured. But what made this particular moment so special was the emotion I caught of her two sisters. You could tell this family was incredibly close with how they watched the dance, and by the end, all three sisters were dancing with their dad. These are the moments that make being a Syracuse wedding photographer so incredibly rewarding.
As the night progressed, the celebration truly ignited. Guests took to the dance floor, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Sam & Geoff’s love for life and each other was evident in every smile and dance move. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with laughter, tears of joy, and the undeniable magic of true love.
